About us
Hi I’m Brenda and I’m the Artistic Director at Expressions School of Performing Arts. I have been passionate about teaching children to be the best version of themselves possible and helping them to fulfill their DREAMS for over 25 years now!
When I was growing up I had a father who always encouraged me and assured me that I could do anything, and achieve anything I wanted to in life, if I worked hard and believed I could. That led me to fulfill my DREAM of opening Expressions School of Performing Arts in 1998.
Today we now Inspire hundreds of children with that very same message through the beautiful art of dance. This artform which takes hours of self-discipline, coaching and dedication is the pathway for our ESPA Coaches to inspire children to be goal driven, hard-working individuals who are confident that they can pursue a multitude of paths in life.
Since 1998 Expressions School of Performing Arts has been known as THE place to train in the art of dance, instilling passion and the thought in our students, that anything is possible! Here at Expressions you will find some of the best coaches around. Their innovative artistry and enthusiastic approach to training is unmatched! With a carefully choreographed progression to our curriculum, your child is certain to excel under ESPA's positive leadership and role models. With deliberate care and supervision your child will experience dance training in a safe, structured and progressive style that links foundational steps one upon the other with emphasis on artistic artistry. We take fun seriously!
From our storybook approach as a beginning ballet dancer, to an intensive training schedule for dancers who are bound for a professional career, excellence in training is a core element to the Expressions experience. We do not rush perfection. When pursuing a professional career in dance, every dancer will need to rely on the fundamentals of Classical Ballet technique, so for every dancer at Expressions this core class becomes a requirement to continue progressing through our program. We honor the timeless tradition of Classical Ballet, rather than exploring the ever-shifting trends of more modernized approaches.

With over 25 years in coaching and training children in the art of dance, we have watched as hundreds of our students have gone on to achieve their amazing dreams! With graduates that have gone on to dance at Alvin Ailey, Boston Conservatory, LA Studio School, Cornish, and many other top dance schools in the country, we are confident that we provide the best of the best in training!
